The invention discloses a super-lyophobic anti-reflection glass surface layer and a preparation method thereof, which belong to the field of novel materials and particularly belong to the field of self-cleaning optical materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, etching the surface of a glass body by CF3/O2 plasma, thereby obtaining a lower layer submicron coarse structure in a surface micro-nano double-stage structure required by super-lyophobe; secondly, generating a fluorine-containing hybrid SiO2 nano coating liquid by a one-pot reaction process; and then performing one-step dip-coating so as to directly construct a double-stage fluoridized coarse glass surface layer with a suspended structure. The excellent anti-reflection performance of the super lyophobe at the surface layer is guaranteed, and the fluoridization aftertreatment is avoided, so that the technological steps are simplified effectively. In addition, the lower layer submicron structure in the double-stage coarse structure is directly constructed from the glass body and then a layer of fluorine-containing hybrid SiO2 nano structure is chemically bonded, so that the double-layer loose structure in the prior art can be avoided and the mechanical strength of the surface layer is enhanced greatly; the glass surface is high in stability and excellent in durability; besides, the technology is simple and easy to achieve industrialization.
