Norwegian Hydrogen Value Chain Demonstration Based on Decarbonized Natural Gas

This work presents the ongoing activities of the Norwegian hydrogen value chain demonstration project (HyDemo). Equinor is currently developing concepts for production of hydrogen from natural gas with carbon dioxide capture, transport and storage, and subsequent uses of the produced hydrogen. Overall carbon dioxide capture exceeds 95% and the carbon dioxide footprint in the produced hydrogen will be equivalent to hydrogen produced by other sustainable production processes.
