According to identification of 36 species and subspecies and their stratigraphic development, ten conodont biozones can be distinguished, which indicate the age of the middle Givetian to the Lower Famennian to the studied interval. The ansatus Zone, which belongs to the middle Givetian, is reported for the first time from the Bahram Formation. Icriodus platyobloquimarginatus and Icriodus arkonensis arkonensis have their oldest record in Shahzadeh Mohammad section. Conodont distributions and frequency reveal the Polygnathid-Icriodid biofacices the indicator of the shallow part of Mid-Shelf paleo-environment.
