2010
Objective To improve the understanding of tube insertion, using and nursing, summarize the using of dual-lumen indwelling cuffed catheter in hemodialysis and analyze the cause of the common complications. Methods The patients in Hemopurification Center of our hospital were followed up to investigate the using and the complication, and the use of the endpoint was recorded. Results A total of forty-nine patients (53 cases) dialyzed by internal jugular veins for 48, and femoral veins for 5.The average duration of catheterization was (9.32 ± 8.11 ) months, while the longest figure record was 33 months. The endpoint of catheterization of 22 patients was studied, of whom 11 due to death, 4 renal transplantations, 3 catheter herniation, 2 infections, 1 damage and 1 malposition. The others are still used. Conclusions Dual-lumen indwelling cuffed catheter can meet the requirements of hemodialysis because it has a long duration and low rates of infections. It' s very important that effort to standardizing management, health education and nursing care of catheter.
