THE RESEARCH ON INFLUENCE OF GEOMAGNETIC INCLINATION TO SNMR SIGNAL

Surface Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is the only method that can directly explore groundwater. This method is closely related to the geomagnetic field and the change of geomagnetic inclination has a huge impact on SNMR signal.First of all, certain dip angle will reduce SNMR signal in the shallow aquifer, but with the increase of the aquifer depth, instead, the existence of the dip angle plays the amplifying role for SNMR signal in deep aquifer. The bigger the dip angle is, the greater the amount of signal amplifies. Secondly, the geomagnetic inclination will change the maximum value position of the E0-q curve .It means that, if there is a dip angle, we need a bigger pluse to stimulate the strongest signal.
