Isolation and characterization of low-molecular-weight DNA-binding proteins from retroviruses.
1980
Abstract The DNA-binding proteins from Rauscher leukemia virus, baboon leukemia virus, endogenous cat virus, woolly monkey virus, bovine leukemia virus, equine infectious anemia virus, Rous sarcoma virus, Prague strain, mouse mammary tumor virus, and Mason-Pfizer monkey virus were purified to homogeneity by molecular sieving chromatography and DNA affinity chromatography. The amino acid composition shows each to be a basic protein.
