Improve the Management Quality of Out-patient Pharmacy

Objective To improve the out-patient pharmacy service quality, and reduce the quantity difference in drug allocation. Method We carried out quality control group (QCC) activities within the outpatient pharmacy, analyzed the causes of quantity difference in drug allocation, identified the main reasons leading to mistakes, and made comparison and improvement.Result The difference within each week decreased from 22.6 down to 9.25, and the advancement rate was 59.07%.Conclusion The implementation of QCC can significantly reduce the error rate for drug preparations, improve pharmaceutical service quality, promote staff motivation, inspire work enthusiasm, and it is worthy of promotion.
