QLF and OPS investigation of drying in natural incipient caries lesions

Quantitative Light-induced Fluorescence and Optical Pathlength Spectroscopy are used to study drying effects in natural dental caries lesions, in an attempt to provide non-invasive information on the lesion surface layer porosity, thus predicting lesion activity.
