Anesthetic experience in aged patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting.

2010
Objective To investigate the anesthesia management during off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) in aged patients. Methods 33 cases of patients over 70 years old(27 males,6 females) undergoing elective off-pump CABG were studied, they received on average 3.0 grafts, general anesthesia was maintained with fentanyl、propofol、vecuronium、sevoflurane. The HR、CVP、MAP were recorded during 12 cases of operations when epicardium was opened(T1,baseline)、when the octopus tissue stabilizer was placed during anastomosis between the graft vessel and left anterior descending artery(T2,LAD)、left circumflex artery(T3,LCX)、right coronary artery(T4,RCA) and when the anastomosis between the vessel grafts and aorta was completed(T5).Results All operations were accomplished without cardiopulmonary bypass. At T3、T4,HR,CVP were significantly increased while MAP was decreased(P0.05).Conclusion Sufficiently preoperative preparation and keeping stable hymodynamic are focal points in aged patients undergoing off-pump CABG.It is especially important during anastomoses between graft vessels and LAD、LCX、RCA.
