MODELING THE SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF PLANAR MOMENT FRAMES USING FISHBONE MODELS

A method for simulating the seismic behavior of planar moment frames using the fishbone model is presented. Good correlation is achieved between the seismic response calculated from the simplified fishbone and results from more detailed analyses.
