The invention discloses an airborne positioning device and method, and the device comprises a rotor wing unmanned plane; a camera which is disposed on the rotor wing unmanned plane; a storage unit which is used for storing an image transmitted by a camera; a comparison module which is used for comparing the image with a template, and transmitting the deviation to a control module; and the control module which is used for adjusting the spatial position of the rotor wing unmanned plane and the attitude of the camera. The invention also discloses a remote measurement system and method, which employs the above device and method. The device is high in precision, is simple in structure, and is low in cost.
