Notas, croquis y dibujos para el museo granadino de antigüedades árabes: un manuscrito inédito de Antonio Almagro Cárdenas

The recent discovery of a book manuscript by Granada’s Arabist Antonio Almagro Cardenas, which dates back to the days he was preparing one of his most important works, the Museum of Arab Antiquities of Granada (which aimed at recovering the monuments that had disappeared or were in private hands) offers a unique view into the elaboration process of his work, as well as dating some of his activities. In addition, given that the document includes personal comments by the author, it allows us to peek into his character and personality, which made of him a “rare figure with an air of mystery”.
