Role of nuclear PLC and PI3K signaling in the development of cancer

The discovery of an autonomous nuclear inositide signal has resulted in a new understanding of how this system could be involved in the control of processes such as cell growth and differentiation as well as neoplastic transformation. The aim of this review is to outline the main achievements of the past few years and their possible clinical applications.
