Alkalinity monitor: a new tool for feedwater control

A successful prototype of the alkalinity monitor has been in continuous operation in several power plants. Indications are that it will provide additional needed information for more complete and exact feedwater treatment control. Beckman Instruments, Cedar Grove Operations, have been licensed to design and construct a continuous alkalinity monitor under Patent Pending.
