Escalator auxiliary brake device

An escalator auxiliary brake device relates to the technical field of an escalator. The escalator auxiliary brake device comprises a pawl assembly and a pull rod, wherein one end of the pull rod is connected with the pawl assembly, the other end of the pull rod is connected with one end of a switch striking plate in the length direction through a pull rod connector, the other end of the switch striking plate in the length direction is connected with a bushing, the switch striking plate and the bushing are arranged on a fixed support, and a position of the switch striking plate corresponding to the pull rod connector is connected with an electromagnet through a screw rod. The escalator auxiliary brake device is simple in structure, high in brake safety and capable of locking a driving wheel in time in accident.
