Preparation method of yttrium oxide-based transparent ceramic

The invention relates to a preparation method of yttrium oxide-based transparent ceramic. The preparation method is characterized in that the prepared transparent ceramic comprises a Y2O3 component shown as the following formula: (Y1-xREx)2O3, wherein RE is one of rare earth elements; x is greater than or equal to 0.0 and smaller than or equal to 0.15; by a combined method of air pre-sintering and hot isostatic pressing sintering in a high-temperature furnace, the Y2O3-based transparent ceramic is prepared at a relatively low sintering temperature. The prepared ceramic is high in density, small in crystal grain size, uniform in size distribution and good in optical performance, and has the optical transmittance of above 80% at 1100 nm; the preparation method is simple in process flow and convenient to shape, and is suitable for industrial production.
