Tomographie X et émission acoustique appliquées à la traction de composites à matrice métallique

During tensile tests of metal matrix composites, acoustic e mission due to damage was recorded. The sample was also simultaneously scanned by X-ray tomography in order to have 3D images of the microstructure. The initiation of cracks in the ceramic spheres was studied by both techniqu es.
