티니클링이 여중생의 신체구성과 체력에 미치는 영향

This study is about effect of tinikling(bamboo dance) on body composition and physical fitness of female middle school students. 18 female middle school students who participated in the study voluntarily were divided into two groups of tinikling(bamboo dance) group (TG: n=9) and control group (CG: n=9). tinikling(bamboo dance) group had participated in exercise program of 45 minutes for 3 times a week for 12 weeks. and control group had participated in classroom after school. Weight, muscle mass, and body fat were measured for body composition factors and muscular endurance, agility, flexibility, and cardio respiratory endurance were measured for physical fitness factors. The results of this study are as follows. First, Body fat was significantly reduced tinikling group for body composition. Second, Statistically significant increase was shown in muscular endurance, power, flexibility, and cardio respiratory endurance for physical fitness in tinikling group after the exercise program. When combining the above results, tinikling group did bring significant change in body composition and it had positive effect on increasing physical fitness of female middle school students. tinikling is very suitable as physical activity to increase physical fitness of female students.
