High-density large-area plasma sheet generating device

Disclosed is high-density large-area plasma sheet generating device which comprises a shell (12), a vacuum cavity in the shell (12), a Helmholtz coil (11) coaxially arranged with the shell (12), a cathode (9) arranged in the shell (12), and an anode (10) arranged in the shell opposite to the cathode (9). The cathode (9) is a hollow metal tube structure provided with an opening along the axial direction; the direction of the opening is opposite to that of the anode (10); and the cathode (9) and the anode (10) are arranged in parallel. The plasma sheet generating device generates high-density large-area plasma sheets through the discharge of the magnetically confined linear hollow cathode, the hollow cathode can increases the density of the plasma sheets, and plasma sheets (13) with a density above 10cm, a size above 60cmX60cm and a thickness of about 2cm, can be evenly formed between the cathode and the anode. The high-density large-area plasma sheet has great advantages in material surface treatment and the research of interaction between plasma sheet and electromagnetic waves.
