Criteria of Nonextensive Behaviour of System in Conditions of External Fields
2012
Abstract: The nonextensive behaviour of simple thermodynamic system in conditions of an external fi eld (single-component ideal gas in a uniform gravitational field) is described within the limits of equilibrium thermodynamics. The Conditions defining the ext ensive or nonextensive character of processes occurring in the system are formulated. The formalism of equilibrium thermodynamics and thermodynamics of nonextensive systems is compared. Key words : Nonextensive system, external field, mechanochemical potential, the vessel-shape effect. Nomenclature C : Section of vessel C P : C V : heat capacity H : H : height M : Molar mass P : Pressure p ( q ): Hydrostatic pressure in the level q p ( q ): Probability density function, where q Entropic-index in T sallis theory q : Level; nonextensivity index R : Gas constant S: Entropy T : Temperature U, H, F, G: Thermodynamic functions u i : Potential energy of the component “i” V : Volume V i ( q ): Mole volume of component “i” in the level q
