Effect of uremic clearance granule on the systemic micro-inflammatory state of patients after peritoneal dialysis

Objective To investigate the effect of uremic clearance granule on the systemic micro-inflammatory state of patients after peritoneal dialysis.Methods 40 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,20 cases in each group.Control group was given conventional treatment,treatment group was treated with uremic clearance granule(5 g per time,4 times daily)combined with conventional treatment.After treatment for 3 months,the changes in serum hs-CRP and IL-6 levels were observed.Results The hs-CRP and IL-6 of both groups significantly decreased after treatment(P0.05),and those of treatment group were improved more significantly compared with control group(P0.05).Conclusion Uremic clearance granule can significantly improve the systemic micro-inflammatory state of patients after peritoneal dialysis without toxic side-effect,it is worthy of clinical application.
