The curative effect and clinical value of steel plate 's different types in the treatment of unstable distal radius fracture

Objective:Compare curative effect and clinical value of steel plate's different types in the treatment of unstable distal radius fracture.Methods:Choose our hospital's 86 cases of patients with unstable distal radius fracture from September 2009 to September 2012 and divide them into two groups according to different steel plate types.46 cases of patients with locking plate as internal fixation materials are the locking plate group,and 40 cases of patients with common T-shaped steel plate as internal fixation materials are the T-shaped steel plate group.Then compare postoperative restoration situation,the wrist joint function recovery situation and complication rates of the two groups of patients.Results:There are 26 exellent cases of patients and 16 good cases of patients in the locking plate group,and the fine rate is 91.3%;There are 13 exellent cases of patients and 18 good cases of patients in the T-shaped steel plate group,and the fine rate is 77.50% ;The incidence of complications in the locking plate group is 4.35% ;The incidence of complications in the T-shaped steel plate group is 17.5% ;The treatment effect in the locking plate group is significantly better than the T-shaped steel plate group,There are significant differences by comparing with the two groups and it has tatistical significance(P 0.05).Conclusion:Locking plate can maintain the reduction of fracture effectively and the function recovery of wrist joint is good.Locking plate can also protect the blood supply of the limb effectively and lead to fewer complications.It is the ideal internal fixation materials to patients with unstable distal radius fracture.
