The invention discloses a continuous coordinative multichannel vehicular network MAC ((Medium Access Control) protocol. The protocol comprises a mode switching mechanism, an RSU scheduling frame organization mechanism, an RSU coordination mechanism, a prior roaming mechanism, a real time message broadcasting mechanism and a non-real time message transmission mechanism. According to the protocol, the problems that the network throughput is relatively low and the time delay is relatively long in a high density vehicle environment are solved; the transportation efficiency is improved; and a guarantee for reducing security accidents is provided.
