Clinic study of fast detection for influenza virus

Objective To study the reliability of GICA in faSt detection for influenza virus(Flu) infection,and the distribution of Flu in respiratory tract in patients.Methods Pharynxnasalis secretions of 200 patients were tested for Flu antigen by GICA and IFA.Results Twenty-one patients were detected with single or mixed positive infection,26 cases(times)by GICA,30 cases(times)by IFA.There was no significant difference between two methods.Conclusions GICA is a good means of fast detection for Flu.
