Essence of the cultural and educational environment of the university and the levels of its modelling are clarified in the article. Cultural and educational environment of the university is defined as a part of socio-cultural space, that is an integrated multi-level set of different environments and corresponding conditions, factors, resources, various types of interaction of the subjects of pedagogical process, aimed at implementing of the objectives of higher school for preparation of higher education specialists. Modelling of the cultural and educational environment is carried out at the following levels of its organization: university → faculties → departments → scientific and pedagogical workers → students, etc.). On the example of the Faculty of Chemistry, it was developed a didactic and methodical model of planning of cultural and educational environment of the university, on the basis of a number of methodological approaches (system, synergetic, activity, personality orientated, culturological, competence, integrated). It has been taken into account that the theoretical and practical training of students is carried out through educational, professional and educational and scientific programs at the corresponding levels of higher education. The purpose of the study of pedagogical and chemical disciplines, methods of teaching specialty disciplines is outlined, which is to provide students with a holistic and logical and sequential system of knowledge about methodical and didactic principles of study of educational disciplines. It was emphasized that the important role in modelling of cultural and educational environment is played by the introduction of innovative teaching technologies in the pedagogical process. In particular, the Organizational and Methodological Centre for e-Learning (OMCEL), created at the University, coordinates the introduction of Information technologies of teaching in the study of pedagogical, chemical and other educational disciplines. The use of the Moodle platform on the E-learning.lnu.edu.ua portal allows university teachers to remotely share information with students and automatically monitor their learning achievements by means of the system of testing or chat. The results of the pedagogical experiment are brought in relation to verification of efficiency of introduction of the didactic and methodical model of planning of the cultural and educational environment of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University is developed by the authors.
