Spectral Absorptivity of Rapeseed

ABSTRACT THE spectral absorptivity of 1 ground and whole rapeseed in the moisture content range of 4 to 14 peRcent (wet basis) was determined for a wavelength range of 0.6 yon to 3.0 The spectral absorptivity increased with increasing moisture content for both ground and whole rape-seed. It remained at a constant value of 0.89 for incident wavelengths from 2.2 /im to 3.0 yon for ground rape-seed, and from 2.0 yon to 3.0 jum for whole rapeseed.
