Actin is a component of the nuclear matrices of rat hepatocytes

To determine actin in the nuclear matrices of the hepatocytes of rats. The nuclear matrices of hepatocytes were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and the actin was detected by Western Blot. Results: The polypeptide of 43 KD was found to occur in the nuclear matrices of the hepatocytes. It was determined to be actin by Westem Blot analysis. Conclusion: The actin was demonstrated to be a component of the nuclear matrices of hepatocytes of rats.
