Reduced Pineal Volume in Alzheimer Disease: A Retrospective Cross-sectional MR Imaging Study

The results of this study demonstrated that the pineal volume in patients with Alzheimer disease (AD) was smaller than that in patients with mild cognitive impairment and in healthy subjects, thus suggesting that it may correlate with cognitive decline in AD.
