Growth of the ornamental sunflower cultivated in protected environment under different levels of electrical conductivity of fertirrigation Few experimental studies have been carried out to analyze crop growth of the ornamental sunflower under protected environment conditions. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution (EC) effect on the amount and dry matter partition of the ornamental sunflower. The experiment was carried out in a complete randomized design with three treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of the EC values of 0.5, 3.5 and 6.5 dSm -1 which were applied as fertigations twice a day during the experimental period. The biometric variables were obtained during 9 measurement campaigns starting fourteen days after sowing (DAS).
