2019
Normal pressure hydrocephalus is a pathology that makes part of dementias being the only reversible. Despite of time that have passed since its discovery, its phatophysiology has not been clearly stablished and two theories have been proposed that seek to explain the process, one is based on changes in flow of cerebroespinal fluid and the other on cerebral blood flow. Moreover the evaluation and diagnostic process of a patient with normal pressure hydrocephalus is not determine because there is no standard method and the symptoms are similar to other pathologies of the central nervous system, leading to realize the diagnosis thanks to the sum of the clinic symptoms and certain imagenologic findings that are not always constant.
