The invention provides a prediction method for cutting force in a curve end milling process. The plane curve end milling process is taken as a research object, the milling process in a single gear frequency cycle is regarded as tiny steady-state processing processes, milling parameters including equivalent feed amount, an entrance/exit angle, momentary cutting thickness and the like in a tiny stage are calculated through vectors, and a Fourier series expansion based curve milling force model is established. According to the method, the milling parameters including the feed amount per tooth, the entrance/exit angle, the momentary cutting thickness and the like in the milling process are changed with change of curvature of a curve, the curve milling process in the single gear frequency cycle is regarded as a series of the tiny steady-state processing processes with constant milling conditions, a vector calculation model for the equivalent feed amount and the entrance/exit angle is established, and the Fourier series expansion based curve milling force model in the plane curve end milling process is deduced by calculating the milling parameters in each tiny stage.
