Rediscovery of Fraser's Dolphin Lagenodelphis hosei

F. C. FRASER1 described Lagenodelphis hosei in 1956 from a skeleton collected by E. Hose2 before 1895 on a sea beach in Sarawak. There have been no further records of the species, and its external appearance has remained unknown. We report here the nearly simultaneous, very recent rediscovery of the species in three widely separated areas of the world, and describe its external coloration and form.
