Clinical Evaluation of Hip Pain: Indications and Contraindications

The diagnosis of hip-related disorders and indicating arthroscopic intervention of the hip can be challenging. Defining indications and contraindications for hip arthroscopy is crucial for patient selection. Improved knowledge of normal and abnormal arthroscopic anatomy of the hip, instrumentation, and development of advanced techniques has led to expanded indications for this procedure.
