The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a calling of a circuit bearing domain, initiated by a calling terminal, through a service control point; judging whether the service control point needs to be anchored to an IP multimedia subsystem domain for processing or not according to the on-line state of the called relevant number of a called terminal by the service control point; and if not, initiating the calling to the called terminal and connecting the communication between the calling terminal and the called terminal. The invention can reduce the unnecessary anchoring processing and reduce the time delay of calling, is beneficial to users and provides better service experience for the users.
