Trends in chemical oxygen‐iodine lasers

Potential resource of chemical oxygen‐iodine lasers (COIL) are in the evaluation stage at present. The experimental and theoretical research is reviewed in this report. Principal attention is given to the authors’ investigations directed at the improvement of COIL performance.
