Metastasis to the pancreas—an indication for pancreatic resection?

Background and aims Isolated metastatic involvement of the pancreas is very rare. To evaluate the possible benefit of surgery, we retrospectively analyzed patients that underwent pancreatic resection for metastases into the pancreas.
