Dome-shaped piezopolymer electroacoustic transducers

Piezopolymer dome-shaped diaphragmsare studied for their use as telephone transducers. The earphone efficiency is shown to be limited by the piezoelectric coupling factor. Microphones using thick PVF2 diaphragms are described and exhibit a well fitted response with excellent stability.
