Nursing Research of Immobilization Duration after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization

Objective To explore the appropriate time to ambulation in patients after Transatheter Arerial Chemoemboilzation(TACE). Method with the use of observation and questionnaire survey method, to study the relationship of different ambulation time and the femoral artery puncture bleeding, discomfortableness and the first voiding time in 180 case of patients after TACE. Result the femoral artery puncture rate of bleeding compared to no significant difference between different ambulation time in patients after TACE(P>0.05); Ambulation after 6 hours in patients with discomfort were significandy lower(P<0.01); 97.8% patients go to the toilet on their own urine. Conclusion Patients after TACE need only six hours in bed to prevent femoral artery puncture bleeding, so that patients with increased comfort.
