A DYNAMIC MODEL OF NONLINEAR INTERSECTORAL BALANCE

1987
The authors present the approach to modelling the macroeconomical processes making use of the models of dynamical intersectoral balance. These models are a generalization of the Solow's model in the case of several interacting sectors. The problems, such as simulation as well as constructing the optimal trajectories of economic growth have been developed. The obtained results in the investigation of the optimization problem are based on the special techniques of the optimal control theory. The computational algorithm presenting an iteration procedure for construction of optimal trajectories has been obtained. This algorithm allows the construction of an approximated optimal trajectory as well as the estimation of its deviation from the accurate solution. The results of these investigations were implemented in the course of the experiments carried out on the basis of the 13-sectoral model of the USSR economy. The increase of economic growth rates due to optimization has been compared as opposed to that of the decrease of the production expences level.
