Effect of Telmisartan on Cardiac Function in Heart Failure

Objective To investigate the effects of telmisartan on cardiac function in heart failure and clinical efficacy.Methods Taken from January 2007—2009 year in October out-patient or 214 cases of hospitalized CHF patients were randomly divided into conventional treatment group 100 cases,114 cases of telmisartan group to observe the efficacy and echocardiography and compared.Results Telmisartan group and conventional treatment group after treatment compared echocardiography left ventricular end-diastolic diameter,left ventricular end systolic diameter / left ventricular ejection fraction P0.05 there's significant differences.Telmisartan group,the total efficiency of 91.22%,conventional therapy group,the total efficiency of 71.00%,compared with the total effective of two groups P0.05 there's significant differences.Conclusion Telmisartan in patients with congestive,heant failure,can effectively improve cardiac function and improve cardiac remodeling.
