Process for preparing a slurry of powder clearcoat intrinsically free viscosity of organic solvents containing solid particles and / or highly viscous with an average size of 0, 8 to 20 microns and having dimensional stability under storage conditions and use, having at least 99% of the particles having a size 30 .mu.m, by 1) emulsion of an organic solution comprising binder and crosslinker, which is an oil-in-water type, 2) removal of organic solvent or organic and 3) solvent wet milling the resulting slurry.
