Estudio de la seguridad y de la salud en la topografía

An Analysis on the Safety and Health Risks in Topography. The initial motivation for this research was the fact that no catalogue of risks had ever been drawn up for topographers, even although this profession is exposed to potential dangers in rural and coastal areas, as well as in industries and works. Via analysis and evaluation of the working conditions, we have studied the risks normally faced by this profession. We went on to interview topographers in Spain to quantify the number of accidents. On the basis of the results, we have drawn up an approximate catalogue of risks whilst have facilitated a methodology which can be applied to other professions.
