One-dimensional attractor for a strongly damped lattice system

Abstract In this paper, we consider an attractor of a second order strongly damped lattice system with the non-negative definite symmetric coupled operator. We obtain the existence of a global attractor and prove this attractor is homeomorphic to the circle.
