for a sealing contact between the male and female threaded elements (1, 2) there is a contact zone (20) between the male thread and female portions (3a, 4a, 3b, 4b) remote from each other in the axial direction. The male and female elements have respective cylindrical surfaces (21, 22) which extend over the entire length of the contact zone (20). After expansion, a radial clamping by sealing contact is established between these surfaces in two annular tracks (25, 26).
