고령친화산업 실태조사를 통한 미래발전방안 연구

Korea is now one of the fastest-aging societies in the world and expected to become the world’s oldest country by 2050. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate the current status of Korea’s senior industry and find out its future direction. For this, the current status of eight major industries was examined from 2012 to 2014, and various policies aimed to promote senior industry have been promoted. Korea’s senior industry is as large US 22,817,000,000 dollars as of 2013, and it is forecasted that it would grow 13.01 percent in average annually from 2015 to 2020. For this, Korean government has implemented diverse policies such as enactment of Senior Industry Support Act and support on quality improvement.
