MASP-2 antibodies

An antibody, or fragment antigen binding thereof which specifically recognize and bind to a polypeptide fragment of MASP-2 Human consisting domains CCP1, CCP2 and serine protease (amino acids 293-686 of SEQ ID 1 ), wherein said antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof are capable of displacing one or more reference antibodies in a competitive ELISA, wherein the one or more antibodies are selected from the reference group consisting of: i. the monoclonal antibody produced by hybridoma cell line deposited under deposit number 03050904 on; ii. the monoclonal antibody produced by hybridoma cell line deposited under DSM ACC2657 deposit number; iii. the monoclonal antibody produced by hybridoma cell line deposited under DSM ACC2660 deposit number; iv. the monoclonal antibody produced by hybridoma cell line deposited under DSM ACC2658 deposit number; and V. the monoclonal antibody produced by hybridoma cell line deposited under DSM ACC2659 deposit number, wherein the antibody, or binding fragment thereof antigen, are capable of inhibiting the deposition of C4.
