Different effects of acute administration of aminophylline and nitroglycerin on exercise capacity in patients with syndrome X

Abstract This study shows that the oral preparation of aminophylline does not cause unacceptable adverse effects, and induces a remarkable improvement in exercise tolerance in patients with syndrome X.
