High resolution NMR investigation in the organic conductors (TMTSF)2X, X = ClO4, ReO4

Abstract We report the result of 13 C NMR experiments performed on the TMTSF molucules of the organic conductors (TMTSF) 2 ClO 4 and (TMTSF) 2 ReO 4 . Strong and widely distributed enhanced nuclear relaxation rates on different sites of the molecule suggest a picture wherein Coulomb correlations play a major role. The frequency of the 13 C T 1 , is in agreement with the 1D character of these systems.
