Monte-Carlo simulation on random magnetic mixtures with competing anisotropy

Abstract The characteristic features of magnetic structures and phase transitions of two random magnetic mixtures with competing anisotropy, CsMn 1 − x Co x Cl 3 2H 2 O and Fe 1 − x Co x Cl 2 2H 2 O are reproduced by the Monte Carlo simulation for a simplified model in the classical x−y model.
