Электронные средства коммуникации в социальных практиках современной молодежи (по материалам конкретного социологического исследования)

On the basis of a specific case study in Astrakhan and Volgograd the analysis of the degree of influence of electronic means of communication in the social practices of today’s youth is presented. The authors observed increased functionality of new information technologies, that is, from communications and information storage to a new social reality in which communication often becomes an end in itself. This process takes place at different speeds in different social groups, demonstrating the divergence of results, “Astrakhan” and “Volgograd” array.
